Not exactly perfect
I have drawn the available tiles now in such a way that the lift should be on the end of the station on the bridge side that you have. (if you look closely the lift has a railing behind it on the narrow side)
And the tile with the stairs should be on the other end of the station (as that also has a railing on the narrow side)
However, I see that some more options with and without railings on the narrow side could be usefull. I'll put those on my to-do list

Started a new game with CityBuildings and NLHS-Dutch-houses (the newest I know so far), and yes,
some better colouring can be done. But who am I to judge, although this is an obvious point?
This is how that contrast is clearly visible, with a lot of new lightcoloured houses:

From now on I'll keep my screenshots here that go with my current savegame -thread, just to play things quite nice.
This means that next screenshots are from the 2cc savegame in my other thread.
First, my HQ, at the railroad -station, the railroad itself got an improvement from since the 1903 savegame, and has grown a little:
Next a succesful station, no passengers waiting because there is currently overcapacity for some of my trains, the station -rating is about 70%.
And an experiment with my silly way of building an Utrecht -design in station:
Check out my savegame -thread for the latest savegame of all this.

I update my game progress slow, so we jump a little bit in time. I build this industry on Rock 'n Roll. And again a new savegame in my savegame -thread.

I started already a new game with Dutch Trainset 2, it's still awesome.
Look at my own interpretation of an Utrecht -like station:

I've read about the Swiss SBB-set, I couldn't resist starting a new game with it, besides my favorite Dutch Trainset 2.
If you studied my savegames you'll probably recon enough of my gameplay. I'm not showing this random map in savegames, only so now and then a screenshot maybe.
I began in 1900, I've build slowly at low costs but a lot efficiƫnt. First is my first new station, it's from the Dutch station addition, very tight near the center of the city I begin with. I use for trains the NS-1500, that one becomes my workhorse, since the balance in price, speed and power. If I start making some money, I'm going to switch gradually to a more powerful engine. Swiss in the back of my mind, that is.
Let's look at the Amsterdam -type trainstation/Bahnhoff/Gare:

Much pleasure with new configurations of the NewGRFs.
I like spagetti -style station entries/exits, so an example here where coal is unloaded and later picked up by faster, stronger and longer (electric) trains to the powerstation:
And here where they are heading to:
See my savegame -thread where you can download the savegame belonging to this, if you're interested. I have a lot of fun playing in the early days, 1900-1950, especially with the Swedish houses set, 1000 building set, TTRS, German/American/Dutch trains from DBset, NARS2 +addon, Dutch Trainset 2, OpenGFX +trains, Shinkansen and a brand new maglev set.
Thank you for reading,
rbos86.

New game, New screenshots. See my savegame -thread for the story belonging to these screenshots.
I started in 1875, Dutch Trainset 2 again, slightly different settings.
The progress of industrial revolution can be seen in a small urban area in the next 2 screenshots, although I didn't start to build industry...yet.
From here:
To the development of large cities, still in progress:
If you want the savegame, then go to that thread!
Thanks for reading so far,

Good stuff there, although as always I'm of the opinion that rail-curves should be at least 3-tiles long, so to speak. Those tight corners at your city station look really ... well, tight

Yeah, I learned that way back in 1995, when TTD wasn't smooth yet... Great, but not so smooth.

I feel sorry for the people of Hardodoorn and Heerhugsoever, they've got train lines running so close to them, but no train service!

There's some really odd clipping issue with the buildings on that island going on. Is that a 2x2 sized hospital building on a 1x1 tile?

Yes, It used to be an hospital, and they tried to rebuild it.
Unfortunately, something has gone wrong with the graphics...
I use EarlySwedishHouses, EarlyTTRS...I think. I put a list with newGRF's here online.

May be the TTRS Early Mod causing it. I'll add this as a second bug I need to correct here. Just checking, if you click on the clipped hospital with the land area information tool (question mark button), does the hospital appear "under construction"?
