That might be possible. HoweverI plan to make it possible to use this as an add-on to nu-tracks, only replacing the highspeed rail (unlimited speed) by this set.

I don't think it's necessary nor even really something which would add to the game. Having a set of newgrfs which jointly give a nice scenery just like the Japanese NewGRFs exercise it commendable is IMHO the best choice. Also and especially as base sets are MUCH more limited than newgrf will ever be.

Yeah like planetmaker said. This will more focus on being a replacement for the original rails to look more Swedish, but of course it can be used in various ways.

Again like planetmaker said. These Swedish grfs will probably work best as seperated grfs so people can add and remove whatever they like instead of having a huge set. Like Chrill just mentioned.
Maybe Some foundations? I always wanted more stone type foundations. I don't know if these are particularly Swedish but they might fit with the buildings. These versions however doesn't seem to fit in, maybe the colours are a bit wrong.
Hm... in my perception contrary to the default foundations the new foundations don't look like they go down, but rather like a wall which shadows the tile behind it. Maybe it has to do something with the brightness contrast, but it looks wrong to me.
Different topic, let me show you some arctic rail sprites (I guess we have to do something about the bridges, too...)

It's probably the colours. I will try to look closer at the original foundations and try to get the same feeling.

Hmm the snow rails look ugly I have to remake these. I think there are to much gravel left on the sides. It should be much more snowy.

What about support for TBRS? Maybe even include TBRS as default?
Well I do have my own Swedish bridges in mind. (we will soon have everything Swedish if I keep this up )
But support for other bridge sets would be nice if people doesn't like my bridges. Original bridges is a must of course and TBRS can be done later on.
Hmm, maybe at this scale, you shouldn't be able to see the individual stones as clear as you do. Compare with the photo where it is quite hard to make out the individual stones even on that rather close photo.
My OpenTTD contributions (AIs, Game Scripts, patches, OpenTTD Auto Updater, and some sprites) Junctioneer (a traffic intersection simulator)

The right one is a keeper but the left one was just to show another colour. I'll try to work more on the right one.

Could be that to, I'll see what I can do about colours and size of the stones.
