hmm.. 40 passagers.. *2 for loading on and off means 80.. you'll have.. 3 stages for every person going on and off the train, and you'll have 15 stages left (doors opening and closing..) Good luck! :P

That's what I get for not drawing anything in a while... page 9!

[WIP] 1980s small airport.

That's quite nice. The hangar is a bit untextured though in comparison to the rest. It also seems like there's a shadow cast on the roof by the higher roof part, something which happens in other places with TTD really.

I think its very good! I agree that the hangar needs a bit more texture. It also needs the left side of the roof to be a tad darker due to shadows. Im not sure what Xeryus meant with the shadows on the buildings as I think they are spot on. :)

Minor update then, played with the shadows etc...

Nice. One thing to note is that the aircraft use the runway to taxi to the furthest terminal, so the navigation lines should go to the runway for that one.

True, very true, but I've been studying aircraft taxiing patterns for a while, and haven't been able to correctly pinpoint their movements, so this is merely a WIP, I still need to track, record, center and draw the taxiway

Ought to be fun though... I'll look into the taxiways if someone can tell me if the aircraft actually park on top of the two spots chosen by me- if not I need to move them...

It may not help for TTDP, but the OTTD small airport parks the aircraft on:
T1: 32, 23
T2: 10, 23

The taxi from hangar to T2 goes:
53, 3 -> 53, 27 -> 43, 37 -> 24, 37 -> 10, 23

where 0,0 is the top north corner, and X is down towards the hangar, and Y out towards the runway.

M4rek, I guess you've forgot to tell where you got that hangar from.

Credits for the hangar texture/hangar roof texture and basic shape go to Lt_Gable. I changed colours, edited the shape added internals and CC logo. Did you really think I wouldn't give you credit? :P

no, i was not thinking you'd have forgotten, but now you're done with those nasty credits. (and one little trick: if you want the modern planes to be able to be revised into this hangar, you can add a small notch on the middle top of the door so the rudder can go through realistically)
EDIT:note the notch on the front part of the hangar (still needs pixel randomization)

Modern planes would never make the end of the runway, so I won't bother to cater for them :P

In AV8 the 737 and A320 can use the small airport, I class those as modern planes.

They can land there, sure, but those are FAA Non-Precision Instrument runway markings... I'm not sure they should really be landing there. Besides, that's a damn short runway. And can you check that they actually breach the hangar wall? I don't recall how tall the are.

To be honest, if the plane can land there in game, you can't really tell people that they can't order it to land there even in real life planes wouldn't. And again it falls back to scale. The runways are small in comparison to planes but aren't the planes small in comparison to trains? The scale is a bit messed up in TT land.
