And in continuation of the canal houses i created now a church, a windmill and a large house.

Its just another step in the direction of more dutch houses

I'd say that these would look good in any European city! :P That is, for those of us aiming for a more european look!

I wonder how these will look in a 2x2 grid though, you have no control how ttd places these houses and I think they will look silly when placed in rows behind each other.

They look very good outside TTD at the other hand so I might be wrong :)

A wind mill has a bit wrong proportions of the propeller, but the progress is good. Do not forget the snowed version ;)

Something like this?

Actually windmills in holland are quite big and come in various sizes.

The perspective of the propeller is wrong. It should look as 66% wide (while 100% high)

well you are right when the propellors are aligned to the canal, but not when they are facing the viewer (facing the lower corner) as they do now right? But i will take another look at them.

And then we can spam wind mills all over the map when making scenarios.

heh I was looking at the windmill and couldn't find why it looks strange.... But now I know why: as far as I know all modern windmills turn with the clock not against it.

anyway it looks realy good, maybe a bit more 'texture' on the pole? it is rather striped now.
