Why not? It shows one of the few vehicle accidents in the game (and the traffic jam that follows!), and the train gets replaced once the track clears.

I personally think that's awesome! All the more power to train crashes.

Decided to have a go at this aswell. I tried to get A LOT of different things into it, and made sure on large screens there is plenty to see aswell. It became slightly chaotic, but I like it.
It's a temperate map with A LOT of focus on railways, formed around one large town.

Another update.

@PlasmaWolf: I regenerated also the 640x480 images for your savegame. If it hasn't been a cashing issue in the browser before, it shall be fixed now.

My personal favotire so far. I feel you have hit the right balance between picturesque imaging and showing off all the buildoptions in the game. The big body of water also works for me.
In a 640x480 frame the top left seems a bit void and I don't like the large emphasis canal and its locks will get in this small frame.

May the best man/woman win.

I really like what Mark and ODM did right there, but I also love the simple nature of Sylf's contribution! Some great titlegames right there :) Kudos!

Hello,

my and a friend's title game:

I would give some screenshots with main menu, but when i convert it as .dat and put it in data folder of OpenTTD-1.2.0-beta, it still shows the "development"-savegame... :(

Can somebody help me please?

opntitle.dat belongs into OpenTTD's baseset dir (not data dir anymore, that changed since 1.1.x). Best you only replace the one local to the openttd version you want to try it with instead of placing it into your global baseset dir.

And... also your savegame looks promising :-)

It was all OK with the last save and I was happy about it (there was a really long testing and result was a good one). But today (luckily I've got a "weekend" today = a lot of free time to do some things) I got an idea what to add there and I've decided to try to add it there, after some hours I've managed to do so. During the building stage I was trying to fix some "problems" (they were really unimportant) that I've found. Anyway, some more things were added above that idea.

Edit:save was removed...

Hello,

here is my suggestion. Hope everything is okay with this post. I did not use any openGRF.

Kind regards,
Johannes

PS: Thanks for the great work on this game. I love it.

EDIT: another small update; I accidentially missed out on RAMMAR's updated savegame. Sorry for that.

Hello Johannes!

Your game file is too big. The limit is ~150kb.

Looks very nice. Now if you could just make the monorail and maglev curves less sharp... (I didn't open the save yet, but I guess you don't use realistic acceleration?)

One moment ago I wanted to say the same and illustrate it with a screenshot, then I saw your post ;)

I think I will not choose this bloody sc79 savegame as well as I don't choose BILD-Zeitung or The Sun at the newspaper stand...

Finally, I'm done with it - last edition (bugs proof & approved). Have fun with it, because it has almost everything that can it have. At this point it's almost impossible to add something new and big or to take something out. I hope that you will like this version.

Case closed.
