Would it be too difficult for the layman to create name grf?

Hi,

Much respect to all of you that are talented and have created all the great grf files that I've downloaded and using.

However, one comes to mind that is not there and I really don't know what is involved in creating it and if a lay person such as myself could do so.

Basically I just want to create a grf of different countries city names. For example I would like to create a grf of Israeli city names to use on my Israeli map so that I don't have to do type them in one by one everytime that I create a new map based on the Israeli lands.

Is this something that a layperson such as myself can accomplish or it's best left up to those that are competent programmers? Is creating a grf of city names one of the easier places to start with creating grf files?

Yes, it's possible and relatively easy.

Please also learn to use the search function in this forum (searching for "name grf" easily turns up many results) before asking a question which was asked a multitude of times, even recently:
