Hey,

Is it possible to make the metro-tracks support the BRS and the TTRS. In other words: The metro-tracks use the TTRS bridges and all the other networks (expect the metro-tracks) use the BRS bridges.

There are support for TTRS and a couple of other sets by default, that is, in the most recent version. I just came home from work now, so ill look at the server, it's most likely up in aprox 5-10 minutes :) I.e. aprox 18:00 CET

Me here once again...

I have noticed that many of the EMU:s and metros (first car only, other are normal) gets a capacity of 24986 passengers after some playtime.

This with the latest Nightly TTDpatch and latest 2cc.

Is this a bug or have I forgot to do something :?: :roll:
This is most probably not a 2cc but a TTDP bug. I have the exact same problem with the DB SetXL right now using nightly r1975.

Btw sorry for the late reply. I don't know whether it has been fixed since. I'll try a newer version soon but as far as I know road (or only tram?) bridges are broken in them right now.

Isn't the UN flag used for that purpose in OpenTTD?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Yeah I know that, but can you make it compatible with the Total Bridge Renewal Set and the TTRS, combined.

In other words: The metro-tracks use the TTRS bridges and all the other networks (expect the metro-tracks/monorail) use the TBRS bridges.

Let me take care of my section then :D

Oskar is busy redesigning the way NewGRF bridges are handled by TTDPatch. In fact he is implementing proper newBridges and I'm awaiting the results of that.
Currently, a NewGRF has to replace a bridge type as a whole, and all track types of that particular bridge type. Because of that, what you suggest isn't possible right now. Supporting one bridge renewal set at a time is in theory possible, but as a result of the above that would mean that the Metro Track grf needs to include the complete bridge renewal sets it wants to support.
I believe it's currently far more efficient for a bridge set to add metro track support than the other way round.

The new bridge specs which are being designed allow for addition of bridges rather than replacement. This way the Metro Track set can include it's own bridges which can be used simultaineously with other bridge grfs.

So you might understand that I rather wait for the new implementation to be finished than attempting a hackish implementation right now. You might want to suggest Metro track support in the respective bridge set topics. If so, let me know so that I can contact the creator(s) of those set(s) to arrange some kind of cooperation (like me providing the sprites or such).

Good to see the "World Series" ALCO made it into the set - we had two classes of that loco here, one in South Australia as the 900 Class, and one here in NSW as the 44 Class - we built 100 of them, and over fifty years on, they are still going strong!

concerning TGVs, you might consider updating some of your data... The new TGV est line has trains going at 320km/h, so maybe you could make the TGV duplex change their speed in September 2007. Moreover, the current speed seems to be 289 instead of 300, that also should be fixed.
Also, this has already been said, but the duplex engine does not look good atm... I personally don't use it for that reason. It should normally look exactly like either the atlantique or the thalys, except it has 2 storey coaches.
See this page for more information (and pictures)
I am little, ugly, and nasty. How do you do?

afaik is the duplex engine a thalys engine with two story coaches ... i dont believe there are any 2nd generation duplex's? (atlantique is 2nd gen, thalys PBAK and POS is 3rd gen)

however, all 3 TGV's have a running speed ingame of 300kmh, and that wont be changed tbh, if it's higher then the ICE3 wont have a use, since it's 10% faster, but have a slightly lower capacity then a normal TGV.

There might however be made an updated version in aprox 2010 that can have "intermediate powercars" with power in the 1st floor, and seats in the 2nd floor, as i did read on some webpage some time ago, i cant remember where, but i did read it.

It could be like this
<, > = heads/driveing cabs w/power
- = waggon
_ = intermediate powercar

<------_ _----->
instead of
<-----><----->

I'll get my double decker sprites for the TGV Thalys I drew for the Dutch Trainset. That'd mean you could simply attach double decker wagons to the TGV Thalys and the Duplex could be removed. :)

Hi,

I have posted update and upto date info about diesel and electric locos info in India.

I tried to find only most important ones and have down to 16 diesel and 20 electric locos. I know u have place for only 10.
Thats why XLs also contains info about how many loco's where total manufactured for IndianRailways. Many more could have been manufactured because they are exported to Africa.

This item should help you guys selecting most important trains as per your wish.

See the post
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 97#p723097

I am still getting info about DMU,EMU and steam engines. The total list is going to be huge. So need help in creating a completely new Indian Train set. So please help.

Also, in the GRF Tropical Replacement, there are 4-5 Indian loco's which you could look at.

Cheers

Dual colours like 2CCset will be better. With them, I think users will be able to change the colour of the engines(livery) based upon the company colour. Aim will be to keep pattern same of livery same as really livery's but allow users to change the colours used.

Thanks for your inputs and allowing me to use WAP-4 engine from your 2CC set. I will take that as base point and start drawing and then search for coder. Also I will try to create a basic webpages before I ask orudge for space to host web-site.

Thanks
Abhijit.

Please don't crosspost / double post your post in several topics. Thanking me once is enough, I've already read your message in the OpenTTD Graphics Forum / Indian Trainset topic :wink:
