Re: #wwottdgd - looking for patcher; alpha3 out

Roujin wrote:This probably means (without looking at code) that the server enforces it. That's good, so nobody can go around it with a hacked client.

edit2: for hints on how to archieve that, look at how station placement drag is limited to max station spread size.
Thanks for the hint, it's definitely a good idea. I'll have a look at it, if time allows. And yes, it's server-side, too

Also, the patch dih mentioned is present, too. We can enable and disable terraforming entirely on a per-company basis - thanks to SmatZ :).

We had much work for hacking the save in last wwottdgd scenario. The patch attached here adds a console command to fix the prices in the save. Similar to resetengines. Now, adding new cargos to the scenario should be possible.

Usage: reseteconomy (in console)

Thanks to SmatZ for showing us, how. :-)

Edit: made some renaming...

Another version, beta4 which is updated to trunk r13593 (21 June 2008).

For a comprehensive description see the first post

The lean version includes all necessary patches. Interesting for a user are
- distant join stations

the full version has additional client-side only features:
- fastest bridge via ctrl+drag
- quick goto orders
- filter available vehicles by cargo
- view place of latest activity

EDIT: Thanks again to SmatZ for fixing savegame issues and showing me how to deal with that.
