Can anybody speculate about the logistics of using a program such as Google Earth as the basis of a game *like* Transport Empire? I notice particularly that there are path-drawing tools, and detailed terrain information (elevation, distance, cities), and even some 3d buildings and was just wondering if it would be hugely difficult to create something like www.gewar.net only for transport tycoon fans? If this idea has already surfaced elsewhere, can someone kindly point me in that direction too...
