Good idea ... but I do not know how to make a new page. I can also include a blank template on this new page.

ok ... I understand OC and 10 now.

Check the page now. 8)

I've added the content. Go to the Neu Schwanstein Castle page and follow the link at the bottom of the page. :D

I'm happy with NFO comments. What about GRF users?

I'm not sure what you mean. The positioning table and image on each page should give the grf user enough information to be able to place the industries easily.

If you find that the end user would be satisfied with this information, than it is what we all want.
Thank you and waiting for you to make other pages :D

Ok ... the other tourist centers are done.
1. All you have to do is edit the positioning tables with the values you want.
2. Check the "Drawn by" credits for Goodrich Ariel ... I think I messed it up and lost the information. You may have to correct it.
3. Check the "General Data" and the "Stockpile Size" values to make sure I didn't mess them up.
4. Instead of Japan Castle the proper English expression is Japanese Castle. Also Watch Tower instead of Watching Tower.

Next ... I have a question:
It can take several clicks before the industry is built.
I assume this is because it is cycling through the industries to find the one that matches the positioning criteria.
Is the cycling random or is there an order to it?
For example ... "1. Try Neu Schwanstein Castle; 2. Try Goodrich Ariel; 3. Try Watch Tower; 4. Try Japanese Castle; 5. Try Palenque Resort; 6. Go back to 1 and start over"

Let me know when you are done. I would like to go to the pages and test the instructions to make sure they are clear for the grf users.

PS ... I added an image on how to count tiles to the Location/Positioning Conditions page.

Idea. Write levels names, not numbers. Industries display the name in the industry window, so these names can be confusing. See the Wood vector industries for levels names.
About values for stockpile. I posted the XLS file with this values, could you or someone else compare the wiki and the XLS and report the difference.
And please check my fixes, looks like I formatted them wrong

Some sort of yes:
Csaboka wrote:The main game and the scenario editor work differently. In the main game, TTD tries all layouts in decreasing order, and stops at the first one that is allowed. The
scenario editor, on the other hand, tries placing the industry with random offset +/-2 100 times, then +/-4 200 times, and finally +/-8 700 times, every time using a random layout.
As for Location pages. Dt is measured different way that other checks

I'll do that.

for Goodrich Ariel 09 Build in forest where N tiles radius are all trees (tropic) (non-tropic ECSWVForest is excepted) ... What is the value for N?
Otherwise, some small syntax errors but nothing serious.

Hi George. I just took a quick look at the pages you fixed. The layouts of the pages look good. I'll be making a few small syntax changes. Do you want me to add the positioning table to them? I think it might be a good idea.

For Neu Schwanstein Castle it looks like you added the black and brown images, but they look the same to me. Which one is black and which one is brown?

They are both black with different trees. I'll change that later

Will the player be able to choose between black and brown or is it random?

Hey, George! I've been following the changes to the Wiki that you and Wally have been making. Good job by all accounts! But, I am concerned about the entire Goodrich castle being in company colors. I mean, the yellow one posted in the Wiki is WAY bright. I can just imagine if the CC was blue or red. Pretty psychedelic, and not in a Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band kinda way.

Instead, maybe we should put a flag on the Keep in CC, or a banner at the entrance (or both for that matter). I've attached a mock-up as an example.

And, by the way, it's just Goodrich castle. Goodrich Ariel came from the fact that the photo I used as an example was an aerial photograph taken from a plane / helicopter. Just to let you know.

Oh, and Palenque, Neuschwanstein, and the Casino Resort look just AWESOME in game! 8)

Cheers!

Thanks on my part. I hope you found the placement tables intuitive. Let me know if you have any concerns.

Just so you know, it wasn't quite voluntary on my part. I was shanghaied by Michael Blunck and sold into slavery to George who keeps me locked up in the cellars of Goodrich castle between assignments. PS. Can you suggest a good wine to go with swill? ... And don't let on as to which cellar George stuffed me into ... its rather well stocked and I'd hate to see it go to waste if he were to find out and relocate me. [/me stuffs another empty into the tunnel I started digging before I found out where I was]

No. It can't even build it.
Black and brown colours are only available in scenario editor or for random map generator. A player will always get the colour of his company
Oz wrote:I've been following the changes to the Wiki that you and Wally have been making. Good job by all accounts! But, I am concerned about the entire Goodrich castle being in company colors.
It is in CC only when it is build by the player. If it is build by map generator or in scenario editor, it is grey or brown.
Oz wrote:I mean, the yellow one posted in the Wiki is WAY bright.
Why not to make it darker?
Oz wrote:I can just imagine if the CC was blue or red. Pretty psychedelic,
Rather funny. Make a try. Select the colour of your company and then build it. It will get the colour of the company.
Oz wrote:Instead, maybe we should put a flag on the Keep in CC, or a banner at the entrance (or both for that matter). I've attached a mock-up as an example.
Well, they are not well seen. What about graffiti? Lots of big graffiti in CC on the walls?

I've fixed the GRF, you are free to fix the wiki

Or a dog peeing on the wall. 8o ... oh sorry, wrong suggestion. The tenants staying downstairs brough a puppy today and the b*** is peeing everywhere. So my mind is distracted. Hope you will excuse me...

Wally, when do you plan to fix location tables? Like condition a) instead 0A?
