i'm having a little trouble making GRF's using the GRF Wizard.
I've searched the forums, read the manuals, and Wiki. Have not found an answer for my problem.
in the Attached file.
I'm using MS Paint, and the TTD colour Palette, to draw my graphics, but continully get this message at the end.
i'm trying to do a stright swap with, one of the buses in the TRGR1 file, usin InfanView to over right the orignal drawings.
Can someone help point me in the right direction to solve this Noobie prolem
Thanks for your time.

Re: GRF Wizard not endoding GRFs
It is quite simple, your pcx file is not a 256 paletted (8 bit) image but a true colour (32 bit) image, this could be due to when it is getting converted the palette is lost, or it was never applied the palette?
[Edit] If I had the right programs on this box I would give you a .bmp in 8 bit (TTD palette), but due to a recent reload, I have yet to install such applications.

Grfs coded ~ Finnish Train Set (Teaser) | Bm73 (Release 3) | Emu 680 (Release 3)| Glass Station (Release 1) | UK Roadset (Version 1.1a) | New Water Coasts (Version 7)

Re: GRF Wizard not endoding GRFs
I had no troubles when decoding a GRF file and copying the sprites in it, saving it again and encoding again. Kept the palette in my case.
Anyways, I know your problem is fixed, this is just a message for any other people who run into similar problems.
