That's caused by google images stitching different images together. It's certainly been seen before, and it is not a stealth train.

If it was even close to being real the Ministry of Defence would have snatched it up and used it for their own gain, not to put it into a Eurostar.

Yes, hence the ':P' icon.

And with todays cencorship of some parts of the world in googlemaps, I think that if this was a secret thing it would have been obscured. But it isn't and it hasn't been on the news either, so I would guess this is a hoax or googlemap mockup. And as stated before, it is the latter.

I also seem to remember seeing two trains where they couldn't possibly be on single track sections on Google maps so it's the same kind of thing.

Oh, and I remember that Class 20 James Bond thing in Rail just before the film came out (and I saw the film too.)

This image was posted on The Register, IIRC, who like doing articles on odd Google Maps images. They had a few other interesting things there.

The photographs are real, it just happens that the top half of the image is a different photograph to the bottom half. Like Raichase said, the train just happens to be going across the boundary where two images are stitched together. The original article is here, by the way, and there's another similar one (except with a plane, not a train) here.
