[TTDP] Shared Game
Despite being an Open player rather than a Patch user, I have been loving this thread and its cousin in the "Screenshots" topic
[Offtopic: Fancy organising this for Open as well?]
However, am a bit disappointed at the lack of screenshots recently - it is fascinating to see what each player does and I need an update!! Remember, this shared game's influence extends beyond the few who are playing it, so keep us posted with what you are building/destroying/improving!

Well, that's my 10 years played - attached is my saved game. This has been arguably the most influential decade yet for British Rail - the debt has been completely paid off, income is well over £2 million/year, and BR is firmly established in the freight business. The network has been expanded significantly, and ageing steam trains have been renewed with modern diesels.
I'll get some screenshots up soon.

Well, there was one here that I had to get rid of, due to not really being able to fit it in very easily:m3henry wrote:but you seemed to cut out the bypasses.

but to be honest, it's not that far from the existing bypass to the station.
Indeed, that's something that we can't really do much about until we get the new livestock carriers.and you have livestock trains waltzing around at 45mph clogging up the system! what abut the tankers?

There are the tanker wagons which can be refitted to "livestock" just pretend that it's milkorudge wrote:Indeed, that's something that we can't really do much about until we get the new livestock carriers.and you have livestock trains waltzing around at 45mph clogging up the system! what abut the tankers?I could potentially have put some sort of overtaking lanes on the main tracks, but I'll leave that for someone else to figure out.

Or you can put up with it. As in real life

by senningville, the through trains are getting stuck by the station when the commuter trains load (they take a long time) because the bypass track to the tunnel is missing!

I guess I could have a go, but I'd probably wreck everything.
Also, I am lacking time so I couldn't exactly play through it very quickly.
