First of all, I agree with Raichase and Ameecher in that it's quite irrelevant whether one player played a year longer or shorter than another player. BUT as I am not willing to let any untruth be uncorrected, I will sum it up once again (and hopefully for last):
m3henry wrote:lets have a look at this properly:
- 1921 J1-1930 D31: Raichase
1931 J1-1940 D31: DanMacK
1941 J1-1950 D31: Singaporekid
1951 J1-1960 D31: m3henry
1961 J1-1971 D31: orudge
J1 = January 1st
D31 = December 31st
conclusive proof that smeone dropped behind at somepoint.
I don't know where you gathered this data, but the decade-ending savegames posted so far are of the follwing dates:
Raichase - 31st Dec 1929 (who played only 9 years as mentioned earlier)
DanMack - 31st Dec 1939
scuddles - 31st Dec 1949 (saved 1st Jan 1950)
m3henry - 31st Dec 1960
Now which entry differs from the others??
Pookey wrote:Let's get this straight. So your saying you have played your ten years, which should have been till December 31 1960 but you played till December 31 1961 as that meant you still played your ten years. This therefore means that a player before you played 11 years not ten and has now made every player after them start on January 1 1972, for example, instead of Jan 1 1971.
Is my summary Correct?
Yes. But the player in question is m3henry, see above.
Please don't get angry with me, but I've always been quite nitpickerish when it comes to numbers or dates as I am software developer...
