I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but not one of those sprites fits the scale standard, and only the verticals would work in TTD as the others are all over-long.

Damn, Ameecher, I'm very sorry I didn't notice that. But he's right, diagonal and horizontal views are too long, didn't check the vertical views yet. Please read my tutorials, the part about maximum sprite sizes for trains.

I don't really know these fora very well - how can I have a thumbnail of the BR Set standards linked to the actual drawings in my sig? I think that'd save future artists a bit of grief.

The trouble with that is that you can only have a sig that's a set amount high, and those images are bigger. Thumbnails... Hmm.. they'd be alright. If i knew how to do them. I guess you could link to the page in your sig.

Did someone say 220/221?
Hmm, must have been my imagination than.
And also, I think I saw a HST wondering somewhere, but I'm not sure.

Nice work, Whitehand :)

Heh, I'd forgotten how nasty those semaphores look, since I play with my own signals set. Must make them available at some time.

Good show, Csuke! :) Glad you're back on all pistons again!

As for the semaphores I mentioned - I made this mod quite some time ago (hell, I think they were a part of the last release of the BR Set), though I've had to change them a bit since then for the junction route setting doodah thingy, mainly by just making it so that the finneals are orange for those types. Even that was some time ago, and since I rarely upgrade my patch I don't know if this set still works "out of the box" with the latest version.

Well they work fine in my game, the semaphores look very nice indeed. I was however thinking that for PBS signals that the signals could have a distant arm aswell as the home arms. This could be a better solution to the current yellow/orange finneals.

Ok, after spending some time getting back in touch with Real-Life™ I am getting back into the BR set...

First up:

http://brforum.csuke.com is getting a makeover -
- New Style, eventually to be a BR Green / Blue colour
- Redesigned menus
- Inclusion of content from users.tt-forums.net/brset in order to centrally locate everything
- An up-to-date tracking table!

All the above will be taking place over the next couple of weeks. If you have any complaints comments or suggestions then please let me know, I have opened a "suggestions" thread on http://brforum.csuke.com

And secondly I would like to make a call to all people, artists or not:

Artists - We love you, please draw :)
Non artists - if anyone would like to help but is not an artist then we need a number of jobs doing, first up is completing the list of inclusions, stats pictures and all, all help welcomed! After that just come on over and I'm sure we can find you something to get working on :)

Cheers

The BR Set team

At the rate that we are going... a very long time. Most of us have lives to live and progress is slow... We still need to decide exactly which trains are going to be drawn. We will however keep you lot updated with what is going on.

Heheheheh. Ameecher has it right.

Things have been a bit hectic in my life. Previously I had Toni, now I don't but I've been grieving.

Alas, I think the set might see some development once I'm over it.

You're welcome to join us and help with the set? Gaining stats, photos, drawing graphics, etc.
