Tiny little update on the forecourts: Made a fountain. Dunno if I get it animated nicely by just using the water colors, but I will at least try it.

It's not really TT-ish, but it looks very good!

I knew this question would come ... :?
Cause the stations themself are (what I would call them) 'ready', I can cut the stations down whenever I want now. But it's really not a grateful work, as you can imagine :O ... Well, and then of course it depends also on the time schedule of "my" coder (Aegir).

To be honest: I absolutely don't know when _all_ of this thread's stuff will be available, sry, cause this is my first "official" project...

But the station forecourts have just been sent to Aegir (yesterday), so if you are lucky you may have some pre-release stuff for the meantime until the stations will be coded.

edit: Thx@all. You know, just the fountain is "new" ;)

Incredible.

How to say it... I sure hope you work with something that put your skills to good use, coz damn...

However, i might turn out to only use it at mines and similar, simply coz its not exacly the moste space optimized design, so trying to build a large volume cargo transporting station with it might be a bad idea, and i tend to mostly do just that. When this comes out i'll do a bit of people transporting, just to get to use them in the right place ;- )

Its been a while since the last update, so, whats happening with that release date?

Shutup Graphics Master, not your place to say what's dead and what isn't.

Unfortunatly I have to come as the bringer of bad news, I'm sorry, Red*Star, but unfortunatly I'm not going to have the time to code these stations. I shouldn't of taken the post in the first place (although I did recall warning you that I have very limited time), I essentially bit off more than I could chew, coding wise.

I certainly hope that someone else can step up to the plate and code this, these stations are far too good to drift away and be forgotten.

I'm sure that with the time you spend writing about your lack of experience you could learn to code, thus having the experience to make a contribution.

Then pick something between one sentence and one paragraph, and tell us:
1) What interpretations you've tried, and
2) What evidence you have that those interpretations were wrong.

Then ask what the correct interpretation is, and chances are quite good that someone will be able to figure out where you went wrong.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

First of all:

- it hasn't been forgotten, but:
- believe it or not, some people have a "real life" ;), and mine is sometimes a little bit complicated...
- and because I knew that I've never set a release date, Mr B ;).

Aegir: Sorry to hear that, but it's ok for me.
Well, does somebody know who has coded the Harbour, Container & Freight stations set, so at least the forecourts can be coded & finalized?

Cause I'm currently moving to another city and changing the university I am not very often online, but since I had a lot of time on long boring train travels I can present you the first version of a new station: The completion of the new berlin central station (once called "Lehrter Bahnhof") inspired me to make a similar one for TTD - so, after all, maybe graphics_master is partially correct with his comment I would "make a complete set" *g*.

I can't make such a smooth and curvy one as you can see in these

http://images.google.de/images?hl=de&q= ... a=N&tab=wi

pictures, but at least the layout of the glass hall I want to reproduce. I don't know if it is a little bit too big (for TTD), so I thought it would be better to get some other opinions from you. (See attachment.)

i would give the glass less opacity, but nonetheless it's looking very nice. :)
