New airplane?

Post by emu »

I've modelled a futurictic plane, and I would like to know what do you think about it. It's not yet finished, it hasn't engines and texture ;) I have the .blend file, I can post it.

Looks cool for a very futuristic airplane. Add some windows and streamlined engines, and it'll be cool, I think.

The shape of the nose is a bit hard to see. Can you please show us pictures of the plane from a side-ways angle? Currently, the plane looks a bit..'fat', but this is because of the angle.

Oops... I forgot to make the rudder :)
In fact, it is a bit fat, but not so much as it seems on the image. Here is the top view:

How big is it? When I see that big window I get the feeling it is pretty small. If it's supposed to be a small plane, then it's not a problem, but I think it looks a bit strange to have such a big window on a big plane. But then again, it is a futuristic plane.

I'm not sure how big is it, but it should be more big than small :) Well, I think it could be about 25 meters long.

25 meters IRL? That's just about 1 train coach. That's just tiny.

Ok, ok, 40 meters? I think it mustn't be very big, because (I think) it has very wide fuselage.
But I added engines(very futuristic) and simple painting and here it is:

I understood the big matte black thing to be the cockpit window.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Yeah, I've got a B2 model which I see everyday.
I wasn't exac. I meant, the engine thingys and windscreen are like in B2. The body is to slim, more like a toy

Yes, you are right, ISA... almost. In fact the shape was created in one lesson of maths, when my classmate drawed a big "V" (or maybe "U") over my exercise book. I was bored, so I drawed the plane around it. It should have more details, but I don't know where to place them. If you know, here is the .blend file:
