HSL track

Post by TGVfan »

I searched about 20 minutes for it but couldn't find it.

Does anyone know where the .GRF for High speed track is?

** Then I'll make the LGV Atlantique for the TTDX Atlantique and set the world speed record in the game.....

The Japanese set has Shinkansen tracks included. That High Speed tracks. But don't ask me how it works.

 i think the TGV is a great Train but it don't drive in germany (exept the Thalys and this only in cologne)!!

if you make it just include the ICE 1 & 3 ^^
and what about the Acela (USA)?

im sure there are many other HST's which wannabe in the set ^^

BTW the Speed record is holded by a japan Maglev Project... some 530kp/h or so...

(TGV 517kp/h) but still a little bit too fast for standart traffic ;)

Lots of TGV's over in the French Set so this is something we might be interested in. I'll watch this thread for developments.

That Japanese MAGLEV record run is holder of the MAGLEV record, and not that of fastest train on rail.

So, the TGV Atlantique is - with 515,3 km/h - the fastest train on earth.

But that was on a test track with an uncomplete trainset, ie it wasn't as long as a TGV Atlantique in traffic. ;)
Besides, it doesn't go quite that fast in traffic. But ~280 km/h would probably be justified.
