Raven also is drawing steamers, for the Japan set. But certainly, drawing steamers is hard, and there aren't that many willing to even try.

Take a look at the spreadsheet, it includes a list of all engines we want to include.

Okay... first: Don't take it too personal what I'm gonna say now

AFAIK, there has been no progress in NFO coding the last weeks, maybe even months. That's bad  .

I know broodje is on vacation for a month, and Hyronymus is probably busy with some other things. So I think we could really use another coder. I don't know much coders, but I know Oracle and Lakie are coding NFO. We could probably make much progress when one of them are helping.

I just looked at the NSset, the progress for so far: Lots of trains just aren't finished:
 • The mDDm doesn't have the correct coaches. If you attach coaches, they should be doubledeck coaches.
 • The NMBS 1100 doesn't have the correct coaches. If you attach coaches, they should be Benelux coaches.
 • DE-III is missing the coaches. Besides that it has some sprite misplacements.
 • Mat '64 is missing the coaches.
 • Koploper: I'm very very proud of that NFO handling! But the sprites are misplaced (let's fix this, and we've completed the koploper!)
And the Wadloper Railbus is finished, but where is the Wadloper DH-2?

I know Hyronymus is the 'leader', so actually he should have said this  .

I'm gonna redraw some train sprites (starting with the Sprinter and Citypendel) because they're based om someone else's work (guess who ).

If we take a look at the trains done, we're about 50% of the trains! It shouldn't be so hard to finish the other 50% (IMO).

So, IMO, any coding help is welcome!

:O Finally those CityPendel & Sprinter sprites are done. It took 3 hours, but they're finished. And ready for coding

Yes, I am busy with other things but I'm also not capable yet of applying variational actions 2 anmd callbacks. But Lakie and Patchman are willing to teach me. I'll be coding the steam engines Singapore Kid made tomorrow. What you said about the Mat'64 isn't true, Purno. I have a full working version of it, broodje finished that perfectly. And about the alignment, I'll be changing that too the coming days. All I need to do is figure out a proper basic alignment once and copy that to all other trains. My personal view is that if I master attaching coaches to a certain locomotive once I can 'fix' all wrong-coach problems.

I think the head of your Sprinter is too flat. I sent you already a drawing with a better head.

I spotted an error in your white/yellow/blue Sprinter. The head in / direction has a small blue beam under the windows and the head in \ direction doesn't. The whole \ head looks distinctively whiter. And didn't your first attempts have more shading? These look so plain.
Yes, you're right. I forgot making the nose blue in \ views . I fixed it .
Hyronymus wrote:And didn't your first attempts have more shading? These look so plain.
My first attempts were based on someone else's (copyrighted) work (guess who ). Besides that the heads were too round. These new heads look much better. Besides that, there was an error in the old yellow Sprinter: There was a door too much in the middle coach. I fixed that.

And these new sprites are 'in my style' which makes them easier to edit (I'm not gonna say I will edit them ). The old ones were not 'in my style', that makes them somewhat more difficult to edit.

Most important reason I redrew them, was the copyrights. Now I can say "They're really mine!". (Ow and off course, the nose and the roof look better now: you can see some extra detail at the new blue/yellow/white Sprinter's roof :D ).

EDIT: Oh, and the backs of the wagons (which you normally don't see) are now in the right colors (dark grey for CityPendel and old Sprinter, blue for new Sprinter)!

EDIT: Oh, and I took the other blue color, so that they aren't in player color now

I heard my Name servial times.

Currently I coding (Fixing) the EMU 680.
(Also most done, should work with sets if I'm right. :D)

After that I'm doing the SM2 for the Finnish set, I could do one after that.

Hyronymus, just use wagon override for singaporekid_92 steamer.
Since the Carrages don't seems to have any special features.
(Changes)

Purno, why two versions of the same train?

*Feels like someone will have to code an Action2 Veriaction...*

Actually 3. The CityPendel and Sprinter are almost the same.

CityPendels are 2 car consists (2 or 2-2), Sprinter are 3 car consists (3 or 3-3).

The blue/white/yellow Sprinter is the new Sprinter in a new livery, but NSset lets them share 1 ID, IIRC. After 2004-ish the Sprinter should get its new livery.

So the normal Sprinter changes colour at 2004.

As for the city and non city versions....

2 different trains, or length code?
