I'd vote for the Challenger. Why? Because it's big and has lots of moving parts, so the motion will be readily visible. Or you could do the streamlined Hudson.singaporekid_92 wrote:there will be 1 slight problem, when i do the graphic, it will come out as a ship, a coder is needed to change it into a train engine. But for all of this to start, i need to be able to read *.pcx files!
what animated steam engine do u want me to do?
Like I said, download PaintShop Pro 6 (shareware version) and you'll have everything you need to handle PCX files and everything else.

Just a reminder: just over 1 hour until I will integrate Purno's Sharknose.
Big Blow positioning fixed (I hope so anyway) and in quite a long time on gamespeed max the AI didn't buy Bipolars (only them and EL-A were available).
Also, I have spotted the livestock cars still sometimes changing colour randomly. I can probably either change it so either none move around with doors open or some that are purchased with doors open always do the same. (Actually, the latter option might actually be what happens now, just implemented differently.) Unless anyone says anything, I'm going to choose the latter option.

Purno, the nose and a few of the details still didn't look right on your unit. The lack of trucks also looked a bit odd. Here is a revised version. I edited the nose, tried to get a bit better/more accurate shading on the curved surfaces. Also raised the nose a bit.
Your diagonals were pretty much untouched, just added some trucks and a fuel tank. Personally, I think it looks a bit more accurate than your new one and tons better than my original.
You can take it with a grain of salt, or you can integrate them

About the stations, the GM&O (Greater Mobile and Ohio) Terminal in Mobile was renovated ~5 years back. here it is:

I just think it's nice
But probably hard to put in TTD scale graphics

Uzurpator, thanks
I thought it looked pretty good myself.
You do the juice jack, I'll do the Allegheny, deal? I'll just heavily modify my Challenger.
EDIT: Here's a prelim of an H8, I'll do the full drawing set (And modify it A LOT heavier) at work tonight.
Singapore Kid, I've got this one. Got pics from every angle on this puppy.

I am opposed to including "test" locomotives such as the GM 10B, and the S-2 and T-1. If there was only one built, then it doesn't seem reasonable to offer it unless it fills a particular niche. It seems to me that the 10B is too powerful and would throw the game, unless it was insanely expensive, in which case it would be rarely useful.
The Allegheny was certainly common enough to qualify, but how is it operationally different from the Challenger and/or the Big Boy? By the same arguments, we should include the N&W Y6b, another very famous compound. For that matter, we could include the N&W J class, the second most beautiful US passenger steam loco:
http://www.retroweb.com/611lastrun.html
Oracle has the final decision on adding new locos to the list. Operationally, I don't see any gaps, hence no need to add anything new. But I can imagine that he might consider adding another compound freight loco. We don't really want to set to be totally overwhelming, do we? We have to differentiate the various locos somehow.
Dan, were you still working on the steel pipe car? uzurpator finished the steel beams car, but it'd be nice to have pipes too. And there's a few other things on the new list that need work. If you take a look, you'll see I removed everything that is finished and released, and only included things that need work. I'll add new items to it as Oracle approves them.[/list]
