that electro steam engine was from the SBB (eg switserland) wich was converted from coal boiled to electric boiled in I believe the 30sh. They converted it back to coal powered in the 1950ies. By accident I saw that picture in another forum too :)

Here is the newest version of the Infosheet. A timeline has been added as well as columns for tractive effort. Please help us in the quest for technical data!

Ain't there going to be a serie 1800 ?

you jumped from 1600 to 2200

and I think that that 1600 has much more tracktion effort.

As, as far as i know it is likely the same as 1800, and when I see a goods train rushing through our Amstel Station (I study at the HVA, and our *afdeling* is near the station side, so I can watch them everytime over and over again ) , then I would kinda think they got a *bit* more tracktion effort :)

correct me if I am wrong please:)

1800 (and 1700) have probably the same stats as the 1600 (?)

EDIT: But they aren't in the spreadsheet also, so probably it's decided that those locs don't come in the NSset. :? I didn't know that.

why o why? Are the 1800 and 1700 really the same as the 1600?

Yes, I believe the first serie was called 1600, and then NS was split into NS cargo and people, and the locs were renumbered, one service getting 1700 and the other 1800.

On the Notes page it clearly says: NS 1700/1800 will be deried from it [NS 1600]. As Arathorn said, the 1600 got split up between NSR and NSC. To make administration asier they renumber the NSR 1600 to 1800 series. The 1700 series are a second order of the 1600 engine, intended only for use in front of DD-AR coaches. They major difference between these two series was the electric coupling on one side of the engine. Sure, there be some power differences but they won't be large enough to make a seperate series.
Thanks for finding missing info, Bastiaan. A new version of the Infosheet is posted below!

I thought it would be nice if I posted some screenies.

The screenies below show all trains (IMO) that are currently working in TTD.

For the 'fans' is this nice to know, what is working, and how the progress is.

For us, NS team, it's nice to know what's NOT working (yet).

---

My comments:

(Diesels first)
NS 6400 - is steam  , should be diesel
NS 2400 - is steam, should be diesel too
NS 2200 - seems to be electric, should be diesel
Blauwe Engel - shading is wrong
Diesel 3 - wrong position and the centre coach is not working
Buffel - seems to be very nice  , but there's a little sprite error in / view
Railhopper - is diesel, should be electric
Koploper - consists length is working fine  , but the sprites are not correctly positioned. (and should be electric)
Wadloper Railbus - is working perfectly

(Electrics follow)
NMBS 1100 - 1 sprite error IIRC
Mat '64 - some sprite errors, and coaches not working
Sprinter - shading is wrong, and centre coach is not working
NS 1500 - working perfectly
NS 1600 - working perfectly, but should be in red livery when cargo carriages are attached
mDDm - position is wrong, and coaches are not working
NS 1000 - working perfectly
NS 1200 - working perfectly
NS 1300 - some sprites are mirrored while they shouldn't be

Purno, About the screenshots and the comment you wrote about some trains: all graphical comments fire back at you :D . Expecially the comment on the 1300, I explained you a few times before that I had to mirroe the 4 views you provied by then to make a full working model . So if you can send me corrected 8 views version you'll have your proper 1300 in no time. I will solve the NFO part as soon as I get time (somewhere mid-July). I also offered to enhance the positioning of the trains, I should first setup a standard to it though.
The photo link is an option but what purpose does it have? Is it for designers, in that case one link would never be enough. If it's for the people: I don't see a massive download number of the Infosheet so I wonder who are actually reading it.

Singaporkid, can you send me an email with your name? I can then add your name to the Infosheet as designer of our steam locs. If you prefer to be nicked Singaporekid that's OK too.

Last thing: if anyone has suggestions about books to read to uncover technical details of dutch trains, please tell us. Or feel free to handover details on this forum. We are expecially in need of the HP of steam locs and tractive effort of EMU/DMU's. Although I wonder if such is specified for those.
