Is there any place where I can find the complete list with hotkeys. Here and there is see a few hotkeys. In this thred is found out you can use delete for closing windows.
I also know there are shortcuts for building tracks like t for tunnels.
But is there a complete listing of all hotkeys for OTT?

I searched this forum but could not find any answer. I don't know if it is on the wiki pages because this is only TTD and not OTT.

NO, there's no such list. But it'd be great if you write it. :D

I actually find this feature annoying (due to excessive TTDPatchage) as I expect T To Toggle Transparency.

it's better that hotkeys function depends from what menu/gui is open, ex T = toggle transparency, but if a railway or road gui is opened T = build tunnel

also is better to redefine some hotkeys, for build options and gui select because i always use keys 1234 to build tracks
and hotkeys for depot and buldoze aren't very immediate to find, "," for depot and "6" for buldoze

I'll try to write up a list of the hotkeys I could find.
Would be great if they were configurable though.

Shouldn't be too hard to implement your own hotkeys for that stuff, especially not when theres already a hotkey for it. You can just copy the existing code and replace the key bind, or just replace the existing key bind with the key you want.

In fact, it's in main_gui.c under case WE_KEYPRESS.

Anyway, I have written a list of hotkeys like I said I was going to do.
It's available at http://rexxie.bfnation.net/hotkeys.html
Feel free to mirror it, but please keep at least my name mentioned somewhere ;)

Change the code?

Post by Cugo »

Hm. I may understand what it does but. I'm very bad in programming in C. (DELPHI is the best ) :D
Maybe I shall just get used to the DELETE key.

I think just adding an option to configure them would be best, then people can choose what they want. It would be good if you could assign more than one key to a function though. Then you could set it up so if you wack the number pad it will close all open windows.
