It's 1991, and I'm inclined to fast-forward through the remaining 9 years.
The DB VT11.5 is such a beauty. They surely knew how to make cool looking, futuristic DMUs back then. In Denmark we had a customised version of this, that were painted silver in 1983-84, hence earning it the affectionate nickname Sølvpilen (silver arrow), or the not so affectionate nickname Staniolekspressen (tin foil express). Most were later sold to Poland, where they were scrapped after a brief period, but one remains in storage in Denmark, and is still fully functional, and is driven on special occasions.
