Playing a bit with Arctic/Alpine climate I noticed these roadside trees without leaves:

- from the Swedish Houses set. If I disable them I get a variant with brown leaves instead. This is all fine since it's January, however the trees remain that way throughout the season, which does seem a bit odd. I found that OpenGFX+ Trees can replace them with a green variation which looks better in the summer, but then they are green in the winter also.

Is there a trick to make the trees changes with the seasons? Failing that, is there a newgrf that can disable the trees entirely?

Anybody have the old INFRA-LANDSCAPE Grf? I checked the download on the forums, however it doesn't work, which probably makes sense seeing that it's nearly 20 years old .
