The Dutch Trainset Add-on 1.5 - 18-12-2022

I have taken over development of the Dutch Trainset. Version 3XL has everything added by the Add-on, and more.
The Dutch Trainset Add-on
It's been over half a decade since the Dutch Trainset was last updated. There have been quite a few new trains on the tracks, with even more trains coming in the near future. This add-on aims to add the trains that have yet to make their way into the Dutch Trainset.

Please do! That's why I posted the sprites on the forum topic of the Dutch Trainset.

I'm currently also working on redoing the GTW. Purno's original sprites really failed to capture the rounded shape, and small size of the vehicles, so I decided to redo the whole thing before making the new liveries. I was planning on going to Geldermalsen for some field research earlier this week, but unfortunately, the R-NET GTW's won't be ready until December. I'll wait until I can get some nice reference images for the R-NET GTW so I can start spriting. When that's done, I'll post the sprites here. Until then, enjoy some samples:

You might notice that the Diesel V200s are not disabled. This is because the devs of the Dutch trainset made a mistake with assigning an ID to this train, so I don't have an ID I can use to disable the train.

Hmm, I cannot recall we added the V200 at all. Then again, it was a few years ago . Also, what do you mean with the latest unstable release of the Dutch Trainset?

There's a version of the Dutch Trainset available which has the ICNG, the SNG, the FLIRT and the WINK. Here

Thanks for noting, I made an issue for it to fix those ID's.

I recently discovered that the ICNG is much smaller than I initially thought. Feel free to update, as the old trains still exist in the code, they're just hidden.

Added the new Vectron freight locomotive, made by Alon. Balanced against the two Traxxes in the Dutch trainset. They should be added to the Dutch Trainset nightlies soon enough.

I will try to get the modernised VIRMm 1 and VIRMm 2/3 into the game.

Most of this had been done for months, just decided to finish it up. The Dutch Trainset v3 XL isn't that great all things considered so consider this not compatible with v3.
I recently added all the new RRReis liveries after those dropped. They're still preliminary, and because they're not currently in use anywhere they don't show up by default.

Unlikely that it will happen on a short term, I'm just not around here that much anymore, and have different interests nowadays. On top of that, the DevZone where the sources and build process was for the Dutch sets has closed down, the sources are now on GitHub, but I don't have a replacement build environment that can build everything properly, and as my interests are currently elsewhere, I also have not looked into getting that done. Maybe if I come back to OpenTTD one day, I might set up a build environment and integrate these changes.
