Usually the way .. just after I fix the last bridge
That is the default placement of the bridge pillars, same as in the original TTD. If that is wrong then it always has been
Which is a good thing and yet another reason to use the latest OTTD release.
Excellent work with the bridge. I've just updated this set nowGarryG wrote: ↑19 May 2020 12:27 Made some changes to the Wallis Creek bridge and made it similar to a bridge at town called Dungog in New South Wales, Australia.

Removed the rocks from the approahes and replaced it with grass.
Intend to let some grass grown in the approaches to some other bridges as well.
You can have a try if like but be warned more changes on the way.
Thanks for the compliment.
I also noticed this feature. Thank you for fixing thisGarryG wrote: ↑22 May 2020 02:34 Other day I tried to get the GUI's to work for the bridges to display the correct bridge pic when selecting the one you want .. but failed.
Might get it right one of these days.
Anyway I don't know why but the previous few versions of the bridges might have replaced these communication towers

with this.

All because I had just one piece of code wrong in the GUI section.
So here the fixed version ( I hope).
When I get motivated into bridge building again like to try making the lattice girder at Bathurst or Cowra as mentioned a few posts back.
Just as a reminder: There are only 7 sprites available for the bridge GUIs, which means some of them will have to share (the shared ones can use recoloring, if desired). The sprites are assigned by bridge ID:
Code: Select all
Icon 1 (sprite# 2594) - bridge IDs 03, 04, 05
Icon 2 (sprite# 2595) - bridge IDs 06, 07, 08
Icon 3 (sprite# 2596) - bridge ID 00
Icon 4 (sprite# 2597) - bridge ID 02
Icon 5 (sprite# 2598) - bridge ID 01
Icon 6 (sprite# 2599) - bridge ID 09
Icon 7 (sprite# 2600) - bridge IDs 0A, 0B, 0C
Note that JGR's Patch Pack supports three additional ID's and adds a property that allows the replacement of those recolored icons.
Oh yeah forgot about that, I wish that was available in vanilla...
