I hope I'm not late, here's my entry.

A busy moutain highway passing under an old castle (now a tourist attraction).

I've received some messages from applicants to the postition of new moderator, so this could be my last...

And here they are, the entries for Highways

This is my entry for March, with a highway next to a suburb.

Loving the early entries! Here is mine:

GarryG

North West part of the State where a Highway runs through the middle of a farm across flood plains.

Farm grows crops of wheat, canola and corn and sheep being driven to the shearing sheds.

LaRoso

To get this months competition started here's my entry:

The lower one connects several cities with each other, and the upper one connects the city with the countryside and some industries.

Voyager One

A busy moutain highway passing under an old castle (now a tourist attraction).

What with the pandemic pandemonium only essential travel is permitted. The highways are virtually empty. Most of the truck stops are closed. A lonely exception on the Woods Valley Highway is the Tower Truck Stop, but the hotel is closed as is the tower. The dining room in the restaurant is closed, but the kitchen is open and truckers can use their CB radios to call in their orders and have a hot meal waiting when they arrive. We see a truck loaded with medical supplies pulling out and a reefer of fresh produce pulling in to the pumps and a tanker is unloading diesel. Give thanks to the brave truckers who are the lifeline of the nation.

And so ends my tenure as the moderator o this fine competition. I defer over to a joint effort by Kamnet and Wallyweb, who will be taking over as of immediately.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, I'll still participate when I have something, but in the meantime I have some GRFs to work on
