FIRS Industry Replacement Set - Development

Should show up (confusingly) as "FIRS Industry Replacement Set 1".

The version number for the compile is currently broken, which is why it shows as 1

I had to go through and remove other versions of FIRS in the content downloader folder before it popped up in my list, but rest assured it did.

No help but have tried exactly the same, with same result.

Downloaded, extracted, placed in
C:\Users\A\Documents\OpenTTD\newgrf where it is shown but does not show in game grf panel.
Also tried:
C:\Users\A\Documents\OpenTTD\content_download\newgrf

Tried to use in OTTD 1.9.* and JGR's Patch.

I'm not going to delete other versions, I would disrupt the saved games, and some versions are no longer looking - but the error is confirmed, I guess the conflict with version 3.0.11? 3.0.12 I don't and I don't see on bananas, always updating
Edit - on my 2nd computer is 3.0.10, not 3.0.11

Jstt one other thing it does not show as "FIRS Industry Replacement Set 1" it shows as firs-1.tar when in the folders.

Delete the alpha and beta versions of the 3.0 series. Shouldn't affect too many saved games
Edit - problem solved only my 2nd computer.
Conflicting with all 3.0. versions until 3.0.11 How safe is it to delete previous versions?

Thanks for testing. I'm often puzzled by what causes OpenTTD to show an installed grf, or not

I'll bump the grfid as this will eventually be version 4, that might help. Can't do that yet, I'll lose my current savegame

Jgr patchpack crashed, when I clicked on Industry List.
I will still wait for the next version, playing openttd on the laptop goes wrong

I'm not sure if you need to enable the developer tools first but you can see all installed versions of NewGRFs by opening the console (~) and entering

set newgrf_show_old_versions 1

Thanks Created game, saving a setting 0 - Newgrf will remain in the saved game and there will be no clutter in the list

Game Crash!!!

It crashes in Steeltown when I click on the Industry directory.
I'm using tonight's nightly.
