19 century vehicles

Post by monicaida »

Is there any downloadable content in the game that allows me to download primitive trains from the 19th century? (and that can be bought in the 19th century)

I think you'll find some in the North American Rail Set (NARS). Iron Horse might have some, too.

Probably many of the bigger country-specific sets would have some.

Among others:
  • ships: FISH or SQUID (from 1860)
  • road vehicles: EGRVTS, as well as the PolRoad and PolTram sets (from 1800)

2cc Trains in NML has trains from 1835 onwards, and 600mm Narrow Gauge Railways propose horses from 1700 along eGRVTS which proposes horses too from 1700.

So unless you want to start very, very early (and it can be extremely boring, due to the slooow speed of the vehicles and the fact that you have to use them until at least 1830-1840), you might choose 2cc TrainsInNML, which in my opinion contains a much better selection which will suit all your train missions.
