Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Nice!
But... You seem to have missed the sprites for the middle platforms when you build the 2 sided ramps using drag&drop (the 2 sided normal platforms are ok when using drag&drop)...
Furthermore, the shading of one of the sides of the ramps is different (for the 2-sided as well as the single-sided). Also, those sides could use a bit of texture, but that is a matter of taste
Finally, is there a certain minimal version of OpenTTD set when you uploaded it to Bananas?
I couldnt find the GRF ingame, but could download it when logged in to the Bananas section of the OpenTTD website and then could run it manually.
(I use an old patch of the game, so maybe its ok for most people )

Re: [OTTD] BRStations
I'll get round to fixing that for the end of this week...

Not sure what you mean about the missing drag and drop sprites, can you demonstrate?Quast65 wrote:Nice!

And bananas defaults to 1.6.0 minimum version, but that isnt hardcoded into the GRF itself.

I realised what you meant now and i think ive fixed both errors.Leanden wrote:Not sure what you mean about the missing drag and drop sprites, can you demonstrate?Quast65 wrote:Nice!

v0.0.5 released
Various Bug Fixes
Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Yep, you fixed the issue with drag&drop for the double-sided ramps. Sorry for not being clearer about what I meant
There is still a color difference though (but as I understand from Gwyds post, that may be worked on at the moment).
EDIT:
Just checked, indeed the default is 1.6.0, but you can change that by clicking on it and setting it to a lower version (that may enlarge your potential audience, that still use older versions of OpenTTD or older patches)

Strange... When I upload, the minimum version I can set is 0.6.0, 1.6.0 is the maximum version....And bananas defaults to 1.6.0 minimum version

Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Ah fair, what is the minimum version for 32bpp stations? 1.3?
BRTracks i think i can downgrade to min 1.2, BRTrains has to stay as 1.6 due to custom sounds.

Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Good question...
I did a quick search and found this in the wiki https://wiki.openttd.org/List_of_32bpp_NewGRFs :

Ive downgraded them both on bananas
Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Cheers!
They both show up in my old version of OpenTTD, will make it easier for me to follow the development of this GRF

Re: [OTTD] BRStations
I understand now why Auz Stations is split into so many GRFs.Quast65 wrote:Cheers!

BRStations will become BRStations (Modern) and will feature only yellow lined platforms, modern buffer stops and a selection of non-track tiles. (The platforms also having various eyecandy features)
There will be a BRStations (Steam Era) which will focus on pre-nationalisation station graphics.
BRStations Add-On pack with a load of extra variants of non-track tiles, station buildings, etc.
BRWaypoints for Signal Boxes and other miscellanous track furniture
BRStations (Real Stations) for graphical replications of Real large iconic stations (starting with St Pancras, Kings Cross and Waterloo)
Re: [OTTD] BRStations
Ive also opted for a real modular approach for non-real stations, leaving out 2x1 island platforms or multi-buffers for greater flexibility

That looks good!
I though you had the platform colour too light but then I googled my local station and discovered your colouring was spot on.
Perhaps the roofs could do with a tad more texturing?
Cheers

Keep up the great progress!
I agree with the texturing comment too. Just some 'noise' will help them blend in.
