There is an EMT set on pretty much permanent loan to VTEC, from what I believe.Redirect Left wrote:Currently aboard the 1845 EMT service to KGX eaoting to depart Leeds
Bit of a mess. No reservation tickets, and one of the first class coaches is being treated as normal class due to "one of the carriages being pulled and replaced".
Edit: Conductor announced this entire train is actually leased from EMT but it's VTEC service. May explain some of the chaos surrounding the unpreparedness of staff and the coaches, train is also running in reverse order. Staff are also scrambling to find a "catering key" for the on board catering equipment, seems EMT may have forgot to give the key to a VTEC staff member...

Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
From what I have seen, there is an EMT train in full EMT livery operating under the VTEC flag, but there is also another unit that is headed by EMT marked 43s, but all the carriages are VTEC livery.

Have they been fitted with tripcocks of they've been renumbered?Pilot wrote:Currently sat on 168327, paired 168323 from Oxford to London Marylebone. Both are former TPE units, being renumbered from 170307 and 170303 respectively. It's like being reunited with an old friend
Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
Was having a chat with the driver of it, and he said they'd fitted with them, so I imagine it was done when they were refurbished.Chris wrote:Have they been fitted with tripcocks of they've been renumbered?Pilot wrote:Currently sat on 168327, paired 168323 from Oxford to London Marylebone. "We apologise for the slow running of this service, as some of you are aware we are running on one engine and we are now going uphill"....
I love ATW's staff for their sense of humour.
Currently on 1400 SWA-PMD formed of a 150/2. With only one engine running flat out.

The start of a long pointless journey...
I'm only going because I enjoy trains.

Currently aboard the X2 train (tilting high speed train!!) from Stockholm to Linköping. The tilting mechanism makes me slightly nauseous.

Beats the hell out of Eversholt Street and Square One.
Not as nice as Baskerville House mind although at least we can get to the toilet without being chaperoned by a resident staff member.
Re: Your CURRENT train journey?
See personally, I prefer Square One over the Quadrant. The only issue with it in my opinion is it's location within Manchester.Ameecher wrote:Having worked in some terrible offices I really like it.Pilot wrote:Don't worry! Bakersville House is a lovely building though, and a nice office inside too. George Stephenson House in York isn't too bad an office either from my limited experience visiting there.
