Yes there's quite a bit more optimisation I could have done up there with buildontunnels :(
Enhanced Tunnels were broached about three years ago, when New Map Features (NMF) was still a patch. I remember eis-os being severely challenged when implementing them for TTDPatch. Now that NMF has signals in tunnels, buildontunnels may be a bit more complicated.

I'm also really looking forward to road types :D . And developers can use a ready graphics some types of roads (see screenshots) I think that is suitable dirt road, gravel road.

I finished making the scenario, renamed it the Agriculture region.scn. The scenario is designed only for car traffic on the roads (trucks, buses, cars, tractors, trams) :) .

I like to think that this looks good.

Using JGR with a day length factor of six, Open GFX Landscape plus for the alpine and snow everywhere, New Stations, and the Swiss set.

It works well.

Eh, I got three more showing just how drastic the changes of the seasons are. Think this is the first time I've finally gotten back into OpenTTD

In fact, only the highest mountain peaks are covered in snow during the summer. Most of the land is a lush green forest

By comparison, look at the land during the cold blustery days of January. Nary any green on the ground except near the lake regions. Some trees fight off the snow, but the land is white.
