Really nice looking. Do train orders assign it to specific platforms or are trains quite flexible about which platform they will use?

What's with the XP on the topleft corner? I assume it's used to unlock new stuff? How does that kinda stuff work? :P

Trains use always the same platform and in a way this sound great, but there is still a few case where i would like my trains to pick up an empty platform but it's never happening . but HEY, thanks to that trains dont get lost, and trains pick the right platform depending where it want to go AFTER !
So that will be a bit perturbating for OTTD players :)

now the XP, in the upper left corner, add nothing to the game that i know of. Those are points given when you reach an achievement. i ve completed all and nothing happened.... well i m a bit wrong, there is the 1900/1950 achievement (reach those years without being bankrupt), it gives possibility to start a new game in 1900 or 1950, at first everyone got to start in 1850 .

So they use XP for something that's usually called 'achievement points'? :P
XP is a pretty confusing term IMO, as XP usually involves levelling up, gaining power, and unlocking new things with each level up. :P

Well the actual content behind the XP thing will probably be added later. Perhaps unlocking other special features.

I'll be posting some screens of my current game(s) soon, if I find the time. Personally I've found it to be greatly enjoyable so far.

14 Hours to Unlock on Steam

Now i guess the real question is, will the game be good enough to get its own section here on the TT-Forums for modders...

It's already being modded, so a special section would be in order I think.

I would agree it may warrant its own subforum under "Other Projects and Games" since this game seems to be interesting for multiple users here.

I disagree, the Train Fever website has its own forum, why should there also be a (separate) forum for the game over here?

I would like to have one, because this is a familiar forum, with familiar people. Most of us appear to be excited by this, so why not? We have forums for games which used to/still have their own forums. Especially as it is in the same vein of (O)TTD.

The Train Fever forum is mostly Germanic Language speaking, the TT-Forums are mostly English speaking, it makes sense, especially as its a game with a similar theme to the games already present with their own forums here, to allow English speaking modders to have a sub-forum here for TF.

In addition, and as we have seen with TTO/TTD/OTTD, members on the TT-Forums who are Multi-Lingual often maintain a presence on other forums, but we all seem to end up here too. Multiple forums isn't generally an issue.

The TT-Forums is a great melting pot for ideas and cross language as well as cross game discussion, the Train Fever forums are solely for Train Fever with a German Language bias... A TT-Forum presence would be great for both English speaking members and other Multi-Lingual players to communicate and share modifications...

I'm in favour of a new forum. It's the only way to stimulate development and discussion here on our board. If activity is low it can easily be merged into the off topic section. If no new forum is created then we can be certain that there will be little to no discussion on Train Fever.

If length of the main page is an issue, then one should really consider merging three of the Transport Empire forums. No offence, but these haven't been posted to in 3 years.

I favor this. We don't need more subforums here. This is Transport Tycoon Forums (TT-F), not Transport Tycoon and any other remotely transporty game, which 'other games and projects' is rapidly becoming, with many of them massively underused!

Aren't we getting ahead of ourselves now? Lets wait to see if there's actually some modders on these forums before deciding to open up a new forum for it :P

As for the game itself, I can't wait to give it a try. I hope there'll be a demo.

I also would like to see TF have its on forum. TF is very similar to TTD and is a modders paradise it is very easy to mod. TF has a lot of influence from TTD.

I do have a question though? When you replace your vehicle and send it back to the depot. How do you replace it so it stays on the same route?
