How to get electric trains?

Hello,
I have been playing TTD for a while, but I always stopped playing before the year 2000.
This time I reached 2011 and I am having a problem.
The dieseltrains can't be bought any more.
And I don't know how to get electric ones.
Can somebody help me?

Before starting your next game, go into advanced settings and look for the setting 'vehicles never expire'

To get electric trains, just build an electric train depot and electrify your old track
