Unfortunately the tubular bridges are broken.

This issue occurs for all track types except for narrow gauge. Other bridge types seem ok.
Using: OpenTTD 1.3.1 with CanRail v1.6a and no other GRFs.

So they were. It was an unfortunate typo, now fixed. Well, at least I hope so.mart3p wrote:Unfortunately the tubular bridges are broken. ...
That has fixed the tubular bridges but there's now a similar issue with the cantilever bridges.OzTrans wrote:v1.6b - Update [20 June 2013]
- fixed [again] compatibility issue of rail bridges with OpenGfx Base Graphics.
Found it and fixed it. As you are very good at finding the impossible; I'll send you an update for testing before I upload (CanRail and CanRoads (v1.6c)).mart3p wrote:... That has fixed the tubular bridges but there's now a similar issue with the cantilever bridges.
FIRS players should not see the 'Cargo (to refit)' information as it is too complex to keep accurate (it's for TTDPatch players). You need to rely on the 'Refittable to' information supplied by the game.I've now started a game with CanRail and FIRS using the arctic basic economy. Although the purchase list shows the boxcar can carry to paper, it isn't possible, as paper doesn't appear in the refit window.
Ok thanks, I'll test it.OzTrans wrote:As you are very good at finding the impossible; I'll send you an update for testing before I upload (CanRail and CanRoads (v1.6c)).
Here you go...OzTrans wrote:So, it seems another bug has surfaced. In the NewGRF settings window (in-game), in the 'Detailed NewGRF information' panel, what does it exactly say next to parameters ?
Thank you, your parameter settings are ok.mart3p wrote:Here you go...
The issues that have surfaced over the last few days have now been minimized, but they cannot be eliminated without a proper bridges graphics file [GRF].... the use of set internal bridges with OpenGfx Base Graphics ...
And why this is done? Is there something wrong that may happen in nightlies with this newgrf? I was searching for this thread to report problem that this set is missing in the BaNaNaS list from nightlies and now I am confused by reason for this (without manual update after release this set will be unavailable to players - what certainly will happen after every release and sooner or later it will happen permanently).OzTrans wrote:There is a reason why Canadian Graphic Files are not available for download from within OpenTTD nightlies, beta's and RC's, but they work nonetheless with those releases.
There is such information ... The message in the 'Detailed NewGRF Information' panel (or the little error message window) reads : "GRF disabled due to incompatible active graphic file(s) found. [EB]". Further the 'DoNotReadMe' explains the various messages further.Kogut wrote:... Is it possible to add information what newgrf caused it to disable itself?
If you use any Canadian graphics file of a version 1.6 or higher, then all other Canadian graphic files in use must be of a version 1.6 or higher too. In your example, you may have used CanRail v1.6 and CANames v1.1. That causes CanRail v1.6 to disable itself, because CANames v1.1 is outdated. To solve the problem, you need to update CANames v1.1 to v1.6.Why Canadian Town Names newgrf caused trainset to declare itself conflicting with it and disable itself? ...
88, but you must add a van to get the full speed.Kogut wrote:Is iron ore hopper supposed to have speed limit of 88 or 70?
There are three ways to find the files:Morgs wrote:I cannot find the files anywhere: on here and the other site.

1 The OTTD in-game online content link
2. GRFCrawler which points to:
3.The NewGRF page on BaNaNaS
Yes ... The website is not quite ready for prime time but the file contains a readme.txt. OzTrans may be able to help you with the PDF or if you have a specific question, I may be able to help.Morgs wrote: Thank you but

I suggest using your 2008 copy as a place holder in your folder and then watch this topic for OzTrans to announce the availability of a new PDF.Morgs wrote:Thank you for the help, much appreciated![]()
I have the one from 2008, I was wondering if there is a recent version?
I am making a folder of guides for grfs etc
Just to inform you v1.6 does not work because it is gz file not a TAR or GRF filewallyweb wrote:I suggest using your 2008 copy as a place holder in your folder and then watch this topic for OzTrans to announce the availability of a new PDF.Morgs wrote:Thank you for the help, much appreciated![]()
