Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
Hello to you all!
I am back again. Been at sea for 5 months, travelling 23.000 nautical miles and visited 23 ports in 15 countries. But I am back and it is time for some screens! During my saling days, I browsed the forums now and even played a little.
So here are my first new screens. It is a heightmap of Iceland, and I used Swiss town names and the Dutch Trainset. Why? Because I like it.
For now, I will post the map to tease you all a bit, with more screens comming soon!
Greets,
Klaasgras

Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
The company is getting bigger and bigger. Almost every town is now connected. Traisn are pulled by either 2100´s for high capacity local trains and 3700´s and 3900´s for Interregio and Intercity trains. Freights trains are hauled by 4600´s and 6300´s. Local trains are more and more Diesel motor cars, a total of 100 is now in service, including the new Mat ´34 for the intercity´s between Ebikon in the west and Oberhelfenschwil in the South. Mat 24 EMU´s are used around the capital Lausanne, providing high speed suburban services.
Gentlemen, enjoy!

Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
It is 1940 now! The first major electrifications are finished. On a number of lines new Mat ´36 EMU´s are introduced, replacing Steam trains with old coaches. As a result, passenger numbers are also increasing. They really like the new comfortable trains, instead of the old wooden coaches! Further electrifications are planned, but due to limited available copper, this is postphoned till 1945 at least.

Re: OTTD screenshots from Klaasgras
The war in Europe is over and the economy is booming! Futher plans of electrifications are being made while the first diesel engines are already in service! The train category `Intercity` is re-named as Intercité because the Ille de Trebourg has a French (and some German) speaking population. The Locale and Interregió are being maintained.
The line from Lausanne to Rebévelier (where it splits to Vernier and to La Tour de Peilz) is getting full with 27 passenger trains passing and heavy freight traffic.
Old stations are being demolished and new ones are build, together with new platforms.

- On the southern railway, running along the coast, the company is investing in electrification. In Courtedoux, people are waiting at the platform to hop on the 16:25 service to Oberhelfenschwil. The train itself is old, with a NS 2100 and wooden carriages. In a year time, there will be all new and shiny EMU's!
