Hello,

Re: downloading AIs, I think I'm having a similar problem. I have installed OpenTTD on windows7 64-bit fine and I have no problem opening and running the program. However, when I select "Check Online Content" from the home screen, nothing shows up in the "content downloading" window that pops up. I've read everything I can find in the wiki and readme file, I've downloaded .tar and .tar.gz Ai files and put them in the ai/ directory to no avail. If anyone has advice I'd love to hear it.

What is the problem? The game doesn't see the AIs you downloaded? Libraries are missing? (The AIs will crash immediately if libraries are missing) Or something else?
You have to download the appropriate libraries from http://bananas.openttd.org/en/ailibrary/ and put them into the ai/library directory.

Did you wait 20-60 seconds or so before closing the window? It may take a while before that window populates as OpenTTD need to grab the list from the bananas server in order to display it.

Regarding downloading of AIs, please answer Brumi's questions. Additionally pay attention to which library version that the AIs depend on. Only exactly that version can be used to satisfy the dependency. To get older versions than the last one, you cannot use the Bananas web interface but have to find some other way to get the specific version that you need if you cannot get the in-game download to work.
