Network Rail faces fine of £24m over 13.7m late trips

Its called late trains skipping past small stations. I have been a victim of that a number of times
although that is mostly the decision making of the TOC's rather than NR.

What I was on about was that a train can be late at Station A but by the time it gets to the next stop its back on time due to having excess running time between stations which does happen a bit. The late trains skipping stations in my experience only happens during severe disruption and is down to the TOCs control usually.
