Matthew: Most users on these forums seem to like proper punctation and grammar. I'd like to advise you to spend a little more time writing your posts, just to make sure everything is as correctly written as you can make it.

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Hi Jake!
I have a proposition for you. since your thread is called the Swiss and Italian screenshots, could you "program" yourself a "virtual" trip from your home to Sicily? and of course, post-everything ... Think about it.
Thanks,
A fan of your screens

And screenshots, do you - people - have any to post???
Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Could you upload the save games of this game?
Check out some of my work
Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Very nice storytelling Jake - parents should show this (printed in a book) to their children
What I (and that other guy) was thinking about, was if you could upload a savegame with your current infrastructure?
It could be awesome to see how you've plotted the real-world lines and routes in the map.
Otherwise just keep it up, it's great. misses some of the cities in south-east france, and eastern europe.. but that'll do for now
Another question, can you tell me the other scenarios you have used for your "trip" (England&Wales scn, def; but what about the strasbourg part?)
Thanks..

Right, sorry for the lengthy delay everyone. Uni work called.
1. @various - I shall upload a save game when I get a chance.
2. @Sensation Lover - I presume you mean from Saas-Fee to Sicily ?
3. @embql - For the scenario, I used my South England, Europe and then this scenario.
4. @everyone - thank you for all your support

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
I suggest you a nice tripp:
Title: Vacation to Italy
1. First stop Turin (maybe by bus to enjoy more the seesights); city visiting (there's the "Shroud of Turin", the Movie Museum(Mole Antoneliana),
and many other beautifull monuments and buildings - so it must be a MUST of the tripp )
2. Take the "Red Arrow(Freccia Rossa)"train from the Porta Nuova(New Gate) station to Milan Central station; here you can visit the the Milan Cathedral
3. Next Stop the beautiful city of Firenze (Florence). Here lived Dante Alighieri. (Venice would be nice, but maybe another time - it's out schedule)
4. Rome
5. Naples (but only to take the fairy boat to Palermo)
6. Choose what you will do in Sicily.
7. Organize yourself the tripp back home. There's a flight from Rome to Gèneve
What do you think... it's my suggestion, but you can add/remove "waypoints"
Cheers!

Is the Vatican City included in the map?

How can that be possible? Let's hope that Rome will have a Cathedral and that will be St. Peter's Basilicapetert wrote:Is the Vatican City included in the map?

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Little bit of something different now. A shot from an unreleased scenario, my Valais one (not to be confused with the South Germany, Switzerland and North Italy scenario).
Here we have a Glacier Express train arriving at Visp Bahnhof in the Rhone Valley. Visp is an important transport area as it is where the BVZ line from Zermatt (South) runs alongside the main SBB route from Geneva (west) through the Simplon tunnel towards Milano (east).

Re: Jake's Swiss & Italian Screenshots [REVAMPED]
Hello, great work here
I just have 2 questions:
- i downloaded the scenario and "installed" your newGRFs too. But somehow my stations dont looke the same as yours. Same for the roads
- Did you edited your money and date ? It's the year 2000 in my scenario and i only own some trains, due to a lack of money. Did you use an addon that makes the years go by slower !?
- What's the GRF of those lovely trees and snowy trees ? I don't have them it seems
anyway: great work, nice screenshots

1. Can you attach a screenshot of what your stations and roads look like?I just have 2 questions:

2. I just kept "cheating" (CTRL+ALT+C) to set the date back to ~1970 when it got near 2000.
3. See attached file.
4. You asked three questions, not two
