I installed Locomotion yesterday and I think it is far better done than this one. The attention to detail in Locomotion is incredible for a one developer game. I really don't know why they decided to keep this graphics. Look dated and boring and when zooming in pixels are so great that you can't tell what you are seeing.
i think it´s better/cheaper to use graphics that exist than to create new ones.. maybe CS wanted them to use these.. i don´t know. it´s also a matter of the graphics-engine to use. and the code CS wrote for locomotion just used (t)his engine. why bother to make a new one when you already have one?
...*snip* Another problem is there is no scenario editor in the game, a new savegame editor is also needed.

i know that a large group of people wants to have a sandbox-mode. a scenario-editor than would be a must-have. who knows? maybe we would get one when the time has come?
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.
