New Threads (Not Forum-Threads,Scripting)

Hello everyone,

In the past few weeks, I have started developing an AI and now i've got to a point where I want to start with the really fun stuff:
e.g.: Something else than planes flying from Airport to Airport -> Roads next?

As I was reading through the "Squirrel Reference Manual" linked on the OpenTTD Website I discovered Threads for me as a good Idea.
When I've tried to use this function the compiler just told me that the index "newthread" wouldn't exist.

Now to come to an End within this Post my Question to people with more experience in this:

Are some of the Squirrel functions blocked in OpenTTD?
