Well, after a conversation with some members previously, we're going to try and see if we can get the old Photo of the Month stuff kicked off again.
This is pretty much a trial run this month to see if enough people are interested - and I really hope so!
Rules are pretty much the same as before. Some explained in further detail and some extra bits added such as safety advice.
Rules can be found Here.
Please read and familiarise yourselves with them if you haven't before.
Previous winners can also be found on that page.
How to enter:
Easy - simply upload your image to this topic to enter or link it from a trusted site such as flickr, photobucket, DeviantArt, your personal website etc.
Uploading is preferred as it keeps things together. If you're linking from a URL, having a small 'preview' image and a link to a high-res image would be helpful.
At the end of the month, this topic will close and a voting topic will be started with all the entries in for people to choose their top one.
Entries close on the last day of the month, voting will be available till the 7th of each month (approximately).
The winner will contact me about what they want the next theme to be and that will be posted in the entry topic for the next month. Then we repeat from there. Simple.
If anyone wants to make suggestions, has feedback or wants some information added to the wiki, please voice it.
In particular, I'd like to expand the safety section to cover all modes of transport at some point as a guideline for anyone new or people with concerns over what they can and cannot do. If anyone could help with that, please do. It would be a great help!

Right, so let's get the ball rolling.
Theme: Light and Colour.
I suggested perhaps having the starting theme to do with "Light and Colour" as that opens it out to a range of things.
From long exposure, saturated pictures, sepia, black and white, colourful landscapes, night shots, etc. Allows for a lot of types of photos whilst still keeping some kind of theme.
All the best everyone and have fun. Let's hope we can resurrect and reboot this old competition
