Trainers not working.

Trainers not working.
I've been trying to use trainers so I can make just for the joy of operating, not playing the game objectively so to speak. But of the money trainers I use non seem to work. Also, the game seems to crash now that I've started trying to use trainers. I'm using Win 8.

Windows 7 and 8 (and Vista for that matter) are a little flaky with Chris Sawyer's games, even without the use of trainers. Which ones are you using?

There is one on AMI trains that works and can change years but I don't use it so can't comment on it.

I use one called Trainer plus 2 but don't remember where I got it from. I'll just post it here and hope it doesn't cause any problems.
There is no X to close it so you have to right click on the icon in the taskbar and select close from there but it works good enuf for me.

Fixed it, had to run it as an administrator. So simple ha ha. Thanks for the replies.
