You may find a crash that happens when starting AIs in single player with 'start_spectator' set to off, which is the default behaviour.

Since I got no way to access my computer to fix this anytime soon, here's a workaround, just set 'start_spectator' to on:
- launch openttd
- open the console
- enter: set start_spectator on
- exit openttd

So, the following times openttd is run, the crash should no longer happen.
