We are trying to replace Hover Bus with the HZ Hover Bus. However the option stays greyed out.
The menu suggests it should be possible though. See screenshot below:


The replacement of other vehicles works fine.
We are in a multiplayer game in the year 2103.
Does anyone have any suggestions what causes this and how to fix it so we can replace the Hover Busses?

Looks like you're trying to replace away from the HZ Hover Bus (indicated by the Yellow Arrow next to it on the left half of the screen). As a result of this, the game won't let you replace vehicles to that one until you cancel it.

Either, finish replacing the HZ Hover Buses with whichever other vehicle you are replacing it with, or, just cancel the replacement of the HZ Hover Buses, and you should be good to go

Indeed. Since you are replacing the HZ Hover Bus with something else, you cannot also replace other vehicles with the HZ Hover Bus.
