Hi,

If any of you have TTO and want to see what the World Editor is like (which includes a scenario editor and optional Martian graphics), I've placed the World Editor up for download here (992KB). It requires the original version of Transport Tycoon to install and play.

And you can find the original on Omni's site

I do have version without the need for original. Do you want that?

Is it an "official" version that doesn't need the original copy, or just a directory put together by a user and zipped up?

Jee, I don't know. It's on other computer now, I will recheck. I remember it's came as exe file and installed itself. To the "Program files" directory, so, looks like somebody put this together with install program. About 1.5 Mb if remember correctly.

Is there a hope in hell of it working in XP? I can't see it happening, but hey. I have the original CD, if you put all the files a directory, then run the install to that same directory it works fine without the CD, if that's not what that download supplies, I can provide it.

Not really. With a bit of work it might be possible, but I don't know exactly how to fix it or anything.

Shame...although the only major advantage is the red water.

If you think of that as an advantage. Personally, I don't really like it, but if you like it, that's fine. If you don't, that's also fine. :)

Well, although it's not an advantage as such, I like it cos I remember how excited I was when I first used it, and how great it was that the sea was no longer blue. Sad I know...

It's basically an expansion pack for the original version of TT. I know you aren't very good at English, but can you please try and read previous posts in a thread before posting replies?

It is a game, not a scenario...

There are 5 version of Transport Tycoon:
TT Original
TT World Editor (can be used only if you have TT Original)
TT Deluxe for DOS
TT Deluxe for Windows
TT Original for Macintosh (but I never saw it)

Not add-on, versions. A TTD to run under Playstation, one to run with Mac etc, only TTO world editor is an add-on.
