To prevent trains taking the wrong route.

Or:

To say to the trains which route they should take (in stead of the shortest)

Or: to make trains use a certain lane of a station. E.g. lane 5 and 6 for loading trains.

There is my Problem :(. If i want to use a lane for loading "full" a train and the train is waiting a long time it's sometimes driving into the nearest depot for Maintenance. Thereafter it drives back for full loading but not the at the specified lane.

Is there any workaround for that ?

Use two loop lines: One for the loading lanes the other for the rest. Or even better: Disable automatic servicing and make the train go to a depot in the order list.

what can I do if I want to use a checkpoint to tell my trains that they should use any of two tracks (a checkpoint that has two platforms).

Do I have to use a normal station?

At least it works when using non-stop and ttdpatch's non-stop handling

That would be cool for big networks if we could build multi-tracks checkpoints
It would be better if i was gliding
