You better oil those wheels. They are running hot
or is it the breaks

More seriously, doesn't the smoke look darker than the one in TTD :?:
The one in TTD have always been too light anyway. This one looks more real to me

What exactly was that meant to bring to the discussion?

I think the smoke is the plane breakdown smoke.

It happens when diesels nd all go up hills, I think it is better than the old brown colour diesel smoke. (except monos and maglevs)

I remember seeing a pic of a diesel doing that while tacking 1 in 75 gradients. :D

MAGLEV Smoke.....

Post by SirkoZ »

The diesel smoke is just fine as it is, and NO, this "monorail smoke" isn't neither diesel, nor breakdown smoke! If you looked at good old iron ore mine from Transport Tycoon Original i.e. now Copper Ore Mine, all would be revealed to you...

I had no further comment about it, but it brought a screeney.

It's a little hard to make een screen capture of the sound beeing off :?
habell wrote:I thought so too. Various sounds are played (it sounds like) 44Khz in staid of 22 Khz, thus the sound is play at double speed of normal. The strange thing is, it seems to be random.

Also in the subsidy window, the current subsidies are not correctly listed.
Each line starts half a line after the other
Eventually the third subsidy is outside the window.
Second, the moment I found out the subsidies where not presented correctly, the subsidies where ended, so I could not make a screen capture while it was wrong

(Sorry for the late response but it seems that this server was out for some time, I could not place any replies)

[edit]I see that the last problem is solved in version 0.1.3[/edit]

That was not spcificly aimed at you, it was just that there was not posted a single screeney of the things that could be screenshot.

i tried 0.1.2 and 0.1.3 and both versions have this bug. The past years finance information is copied to the 2 years ago finance information.

and another tip: when openttd is active, pres alt-prtscrn instead of just printscreen. it will make an screenshot of the currently active window, it saves some filesize

The price for a 'ship depot' is about 10 times as high as it should be. When starting a new map it costs about 15,000 pounds which I think is a bit too much

i think the build on slopes feature still needs some work ;) (see screenshot ^^). also, i'd like to be able to build stations on slopes! and, of course, building on coasts, not really working, too =) i really use that feature very often in ttdpatch, so i'd like to see a version working as well in OpenTTD ^^

That would be a good idea. Bug reports more than one place is a mess

About the bug, I can see that Ludde have made some changes to the code about foundations on the code on svn. I haven't tried it yet thought.
