Hang on, this is getting confusing. Are you a co-author of this set? Or is this something Jezulkim forgot to write down. Because it'll make this set a OpenTTD grf then, not a TTD grf.

Not a TTDPatch GRF you mean, TTD couldn't load any newGRFs.

olds.grf was made in order to play before 1920 in Openttd
All other grfs will work in Ttd patch.

Its a bonus for Openttd, Technically TTO works if you start in 1920 because the vehicles exist.
Thoose vehicles works in TTDPatch too(Jinty etc.)

In Openttd vehicles were added so you can start in 1830 with the Stephenson's rocket

Still no clue if this grf is for TTDPatch or OpenTTD. Can you please help me out? Just give a more detailed set summary.

All the grfs are for TTDPatch, the exception olds.grf which is for OpenTTD.
The TTDPatch GRFs works on OpenTTD too.

You see, if you used GRFcrawler you just upload the grf there and write all that down in the info part. Then you won't have to start two topics about the same. So please submit this grf to GRFcrawler asap so I can lock the OpenTTD version of this thread.

Uhm, the Openttd version is actually the most up to date one. This is the "Extra" one as the set is aimed towards Openttd

Right, let me just get this straight. Is there any particular reason for this being "aimed" at OTTD. Ie, do certain features only work in OTTD and not in Patch?

Pre 1920 vehicles works only in Openttd and it was tested in Openttd.

But is there any reason why they couldn't be contained in one .grf so and just do a check so that if it is being used in TTDP, the earlier vehicles are disabled? It would make for a more organised system.

Well it has been like this all the time, maybe in the next version we will consolidate it.
