Thanks for the encouragement guys, it definitely makes it easier to keep going!

Anyway here she is, all finished. (I figured I'd better call it quits before I drive myself mad drawing every little detail. )

Don't do that. Keep drawing whatever you dang well want, because it's good practice. If we already have it, yours may look better and be included anyway. If not, it's good practice.

For practice, I drew all of sydneys suburban stock (to the wrong scale, doh!). Even though we already have some of it drawn, it's still good practice.

And Coalroads wasn't trying to discourage you at all either, he's a top bloke. I look forward to his art.

Hooray for Coalroads!

Whitehand is in and out for a bit, 'cause he's taking a bit of a break, but he'll be gobsmacked when he comes back :D.

ok cool, sounds like a top bloke

Coalroads: may i please use you EL Class in CFCLA to make a RL Class, as seen in the March 2006 issue of Railway Digest - (Pg 17)... the 2 are very similar and i don't see the point in redrawing a whole loco for the sake of a few vents, fans and portholes?

Incase anyone is wondering what the RL class is; it's what CFCLA is doing with the remaining 442's or "Jumbo's" if you like, they look very similar to the EL and AN shape body except for the positioning of fans on the roof, which there a 5 of.. 3 at the rear, 2 in the middle... and the door further back with bigger vents positioned down the sides.

Also, has anyone thought about the XB Class? it's an X Class without the cab and will run as a dummy unit, just for extra horsepower, 3000 to be exact... they're being made for Pacific National

You'd think so, wouldn't you. Turned out to be quite the undesirable member to have, so we ousted him, twice. I must say, if he ever returns he will have his... well... they would be roasted over an open fire.

However, he did help the AU Set out quite a bit, which is why it's so funny that we can laugh at his back. For he treated the community no better than you would a slave, so for him to have "helped" us... well, it's hilarious.

Looking forward to your RL Class, hopefully it is of the standard we have come to expect (ie, better than TTDX Artists stuff anyway )

Here's the only view i have done so far.. finding it a little difficult in the \ & / views becauce of the golden wing patterns on the nose/tail :?

Looks pretty good. Also looks suspiciously close to my GP9... Just curious if you based it off my sprites. I don't ask for permission, just credit.

Thx.
